Already I have tried friction-brushing it off….cold water…..cold water with dish washing liquid and brushing again….Part of it is gone….but not the sunny yellow color……I am hoping you can help me.
Oxi-clean, vanish, cillit bang, just try some stain removers.
try peroxide, i heard it works really well
It will be tough, but an organic stain remover and very specific process:

Fuller Brush Company makes a product called HyperOx Carpet & Fabric Spotter that removes even set in stains.
Biodegradable surfactants and hydrogen peroxide foam penetrate the stain and the power of activated oxygen dissolves the stain. Works great on carpets, rugs and upholstery. Ideal for use on all types of stains: food, dirt, grass, coffee, tea, juice, ink, pet and organic.
You will want to spray the mustard stain with the HyperOx, making sure to cover it completely and thoroughly. Let it sit for a few seconds then scrub with a hand held scrub brush. Blot the excess moisture up with a clean cloth.
Here is a site that I would highly recommend. They have very high quality stain removal techniques. I would suggest repeating the process after the first application, and rinsing the rug out with cool water in between applications. Best of luck!
