the necklace is gold and its a white heart and in the center is a mustard seed.

i know that there is something in the Bible about a mustard seed, and if any of you know, please tell me the meaning?

Thanks!

The mustard seed is small, but it grows into a large tough plant. Faith is like that. It starts small and grows.

because from such a tiny seed, a large tree can grow.

    thus it’s relationship to one’s faith…

In the Parable of the Mustard Seed, Jesus compares the Kingdom of Heaven to a mustard seed. Although having some of the smallest seeds, the mustard plant grows to a large size, providing shelter for birds: Mark 4:31-32. The story has been interpreted to mean that grand things can grow from tiny actions.

In the bible it is stated that the mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds, but that is not true. There are other plants with smaller seeds. But hey, we can’t expect god to know everything!

First of all, I don’t think a lot of people realize just how tiny a mustard seed it. The “seed” you see in your necklace is actually the seed pod. There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of actual seeds inside it.
In Matthew, Jesus tells a parable about a mustard seed. “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.” Matt.13:31,32
