What is a good healthy recipe for Mustard Greens?

I would like to cook some mustard greens for my family but growing up everyone I know boiled them to death with pork fat or chunks of ham in them. I would like to flavor them with a healthy seasoning, like an herb or something. I have high cholesterol, Diabetes, and high blood pressure. So I would like to make it taste good and be healthy at the same time. I would also like for my daughter to know that healthy foods can taste good without loading them down with fat and calories. I do not want her to grow up to to sick all of the time like me.

just read your last 4 questions…you need to just stick with oatmeal and yougurt for a while until your health inproves…what have you been eating???stop it!!!

  2. Sew What? says:

Put a couple tablespoons of olive oil in a pan. Add the greens (remove the tough center vein and chop the greens first). Add a clove of minced garlic. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and Mrs. Dash if you like. Serve with a sprinkle of vinegar or lemon slices to squeeze over the top.

You don’t have to cook them until they are dead. Cook them until they are as tender as you like to eat them.
