Does anybody on here have any GOOD soul-food recipes?

I am looking for those good homemade recipes. I like collard, mustard and turnip greens, baked macaroni and cheese, candied yams, cabbage, smothered chicken, stewed chicken, cornbread dressing, oxtails, etc.

Has anybody ever experienced rotten yellow mustard? Just opened a new jar and it reeked like eggs!?

Just opened a new jar and didn’t notice a smell. Then I put some in my mouth and it was really bitter. I smelled it and it smelled like rotten eggs! I’ve never heard of rotten mustard..has anybody? And how could a brand new mustard be rotten?
