Brianna’s is my favorite fatty one and Newman’s Own Light is my favorite light one. I am vegetarian and so are both of these dressings. They are just both so expensive so I wanted to know if anyone knew of a really good recipe! Thanks in advance!!

Ingredients:
3/4 cup sour cream
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup Dijon mustard
1/3 cup honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice PLUS”PLUS” means this ingredient in addition to the one on the next line, often with divided uses
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, and mustard. Blend thoroughly using a wire whisk. Slowly pour in the honey and lemon juice.
Continue mixing ingredients until dressing is smooth and well combined.
Seriously, for honey mustard, all you need is a 1/4 cup of honey and 1/4 cup of mustard. You can adjust either quantity to taste. And you can use whatever type of mustard you like.
Use:
1/2 cup honey, any flavor
1/2 cup dijon mustard
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
This is the ‘basic’ recipe for honey mustard vinegar, but you can change the flavor by changing the kind of mustard you use, the kind of honey you use, and the kind of vinegar you use … try using rice vinegar, balsamic vinegar … there are some calories to this dressing but it’s ‘pure and clean’ and doesn’t have any preservatives, so keep it in the refrigerator, tightly covered and use wisely. It’s really a very INEXPENSIVE dressing to make, and it lasts a lot longer than any ’store bought’ brand because there is more ‘true flavor’ to it, so you use less.
